Google Chrome: an update

Google Chrome: an update

If you took a break from the Internet during the January holidays, you may not know about the changes in the Google Chrome browser.

From February 4, the browser will block pop-up requests for displaying notifications from sites.

To block, users will need to activate the appropriate option in the alert settings, and in some cases, the notifications will be blocked automatically.

To avoid automatic blocking, the Google Chrome team recommends that site owners test their resources with Canary to see how the browser will interact with them after the release of updates.

What else is new in Google Chrome

– New UI.
“Quiet UI” will inform users that alerts have been blocked and allow them to be unlocked.

Google also warned that it will take action against those sites that abuse push alerts.
