Yandex Direct has earned two new ways to optimize auto strategies: on the composite goals of Metrics and on several key goals.
They will be appreciated by advertisers who have multiple goals in mind when setting up an ad campaign, and now you can optimize strategies for multiple key goals simultaneously, as well as for composite goals from Metric.
A composite goal is one goal that can be achieved when all sub-goals are met, i.e. the conditions described in its setting.
Where applicable:
In the strategy “Conversion Optimization” when using the payment model for conversions and settings “Average conversion price”.
For example, an order goal can include sub-goals: the first step is a call, the second step is an order, an auto strategy that is set to optimize for the order goal will count conversions only when the specified conditions are met, and will try to bring users who will perform the chain of actions – a call, and then make an order.
⠀
Metrics is suitable for advertisers who have different targeted user actions have different business value, and buying all conversions at the same price is not good.
For example, if the goals are at different levels of the sales funnel.
Where applicable
Conversion optimization strategy with a weekly budget.
⠀
Optimization for all Metric goals will be disabled, first of all, this option will no longer be available for new placements, and then for all advertising campaigns, instead, you can adjust optimization for a composite goal or for several key goals.
