Google is going to turn YouTube into a marketplace, and testing the option to sell products from videos has already begun.

How will that work?
Video hosting asks video creators to install a special program to label and track products from the video, data from this program will be processed by analytics tools and Google trading tools.
How will viewers/buyers benefit from this?
Viewers will be able to click on the product from viewing the video and buy it directly.
The authors of the videos themselves can control what products are displayed in the video.
Rumors of a YouTube marketplace have been circulating since early 2020, and there are a lot of unpacking videos on video hosting, which will be the main selling ground.
