In the last year, there’s been a massive disconnect between shoppers and marketing, and the popularity of chatbots, online events, targeting has led to no one wanting to be sold.

The gap between buyer and marketing is widening. 42% of sellers believe this is an effective marketing strategy, but only 10% of buyers will respond to a chatbot.
There is also a gap in attitudes towards online events: 63% of sellers believe that holding digital events is effective, while 57% of buyers say they are unlikely to respond to an invitation.
What’s more, 53 percent of people think there are too many virtual events, and about 50 percent have received more than four digital invitations.

What do you pay attention to?
User reviews are among the three most reliable and influential sources of information when making a purchase decision. Sellers underestimate the importance of content reviews by about 61% and exaggerate the number of stars of product quality by about 2 times. 46% of sellers use reviews as a way to attract their customers. Of these, the vast majority (86%) work with one or more websites with reviews on a paid basis.
