On the University of World Civilizations website, we fixed titles and page descriptions, configured rules for duplicate URLs and added analytics events. This case covers the work and checks of the published website.
Project website: UWC
What needed to change
The university website contains degree programmes, news and institutional information. Repeated descriptions, multiple H1 headings and archive URLs with parameters needed review.
We checked page metadata, indexing rules, analytics events and organisation markup separately.
Work and results
| Work | Result | Period or source |
|---|---|---|
| Titles, descriptions and indexing | 391 unique descriptions added | University of World Civilizations |
| Metrica goals and executive markup | 4 Metrica goals configured | University of World Civilizations |

Titles, descriptions and indexing
391 unique descriptions added · University of World Civilizations
We wrote unique meta descriptions for 391 URLs: 386 posts and pages and five news archive terms. After publication, all 391 descriptions were present and unique.
We removed duplicate titles on 23 URLs and adjusted H1 headings on 26. We checked the published HTML to see the text as rendered by the template.
We added robots.txt and sitemap.xml. Technical duplicates with date parameters were excluded from indexing. The sitemap points to WordPress’s dynamic sitemaps; duplicate rules apply to selected URL types.
We added university markup to the homepage and linked it to the visible content. It describes the organisation but does not guarantee a rich search result.
Metrica goals and executive markup
4 Metrica goals configured · University of World Civilizations
We configured four Metrica goals for form submissions and clicks on admissions links. Reports can distinguish these actions.
We added markup for six executives: Person objects, a shared ItemList, and links to the university and page URL. We checked all six people and the required fields in the published JSON-LD.
The screenshots show the public website on desktop and mobile. Private analytics reports and applicants’ enquiries are not published.
How we checked the results
The main metadata and markup changes are recorded in the working documents for July 2026. We checked the full list of 391 URLs and six valid Person objects.
We checked robots.txt, sitemap.xml and duplicate URL rules separately. For this case, we reopened the public website and captured its current appearance.

What to keep in mind
391 descriptions, 23 title fixes and 26 H1 adjustments show the work completed. They do not measure search rankings, traffic or enquiries.
Analytics events allow visitor actions to be counted. This case does not establish an increase in admissions or a causal link to the technical changes.
Before similar work
Agree on the URL list before work starts. Check the entire list after publication, and review metadata, indexing rules and analytics events as separate results.
