Conversions: Why Services Show Different Data

Conversions: Why Services Show Different Data

Today it is becoming increasingly difficult to persuade the user to buy offline.

This is due to the increase in the number of advertising touches on different devices (laptop / computer, phone, tablet).

This increases the difficulty of measuring the effect of each touch.
Especially if it is a product with a long cycle of purchase, where many online marketing channels are involved and the final conversion of the user makes offline.

Advertising platforms and analytics systems offer their solutions to measure the impact of touch on the user’s path to conversion.

However, if you compare the number of conversions in Google Analytics, Facebook Ads or Google Ads, it turns out that the data do not match.

What does it have to do with it?

Sites do not share all data with each other (Facebook does not share data about advertising impressions with Google).
Data in systems are shown within established models and attribution windows, and at sites such windows and models can be different.

Each system is different, with Google making it harder to collect and analyze data on single-user multichannel conversions, and Facebook making it easier to do so because users log in by typing in their login data on both laptops and mobile devices.
